Student Visa
Canada is one of the top countries where students from all over the world come to study. The diverse culture and communities, as well as being home to some of the top universities in the world, make Canada appealing to outsiders, especially students. Students can expand their knowledge and have the freedom to study whatever their heart desires. Students in Canada are given various opportunities to study in research labs, participate in field work, and have hands-on experiences.
There are many advantages of studying in Canada as an international student, such as receiving a Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) and having the chance to apply for a Permanent Resident in Canada. To do this, the applicant must enroll and receive an Acceptance Letter from their choice of Designated Learning Institution of Canada. They must also make a deposit or show the funds that will cover their stay in Canada.

Working While Studying
With a study permit, students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week on or off campus without a work permit. However, if the program offers Co-op, the student will need a work permit. If the student wishes to stay in Canada after graduation, they have 90 days to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The PGWP allows graduate students to work full-time in Canada.

Extension and Restoration
Extension in your study permit allows you to study in Canada for more than your original term. One must always try to apply for an extension before the expiration of the current permit. The application would then let you continue studying in Canada under a ‘maintained status’ while waiting for your extension to be processed.
You can apply for a restoration 90 days after the expiration of the study permit if the circumstances and entities surrounding your education have changed. In those cases, altering the terms of your study permit is the best thing to do, which can be done through restoration.
